The King Short

The Canvasback duck is commonly know as the "King of Ducks" by ancient waterfowl hunters.  The Canvasback duck is admired for its noble looks.  With his scarlet head held high and his dignified, elegant black & white feathers, it is no wonder he is referred to as The King.

We carefully illustrated this unique duck decoy design to characterize an old, beat-up Canvasback decoy that had battled the Chesapeake Bay's rough, brackish waters.
